Clay Griessmeyer
Meet Trial Attorney Extraordinaire-Clayton Griessmeyer
Clay is not actually a part of the firm, but he’s an incredibly valuable team member who we really enjoy working with.
Clay was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He was a competitive swimmer and triathlete throughout college. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He became a school teacher before deciding he wanted to go to law school. That’s how he met John. They were law school roommates and friends, recognizing they shared similar values and visions of the law, and the importance of using their skills to help people like you take on extraordinary odds against soulless, money-hungry corporations.
Clay and John took trial practice together, cementing their love of trying cases before juries, believing juries to be the great equalizers in the ordinary person’s struggle against the powerful. Clay went on to pass the California Bar, becoming an associate of a famed San Diego trial lawyer. Clay eventually moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and to help people where he grew up overcome the legal hurdles placed in front of them by a system that is too often rigged for the rich and powerful. He continued sharpening his trial skills, learning from Gerry Spence, the greatest trial lawyer of the last century.
He has multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts, including some of the biggest in Wisconsin history. But he still fights like hell for his clients, tries as many cases as he can, and firmly believes that jury trials are one of the few places where an ordinary person can go toe-to-toe with a huge corporation and actually win.
That’s why we love working with Clay and decided he should have a profile on our site. You can learn more about Clay’s firm at https://www.griessmeyerlaw.com.
